Spartacus Blood and Sand S01E12| Watch Spartacus Blood and Sand Season 01 Episode 12 Online:==> As Crixus (Manu Bennet) fights in the arena above, a defiant Solonius (Craig Walsh Wrightson) waits below, shackled and chained to the wall, awaiting his fate. A ruthless Batiatus (John Hannah) doesn’t disappoint, telling him with conviction that he is to be executed in the arena by Spartacus (Andy Whitfield). Crixus once again hears the roaring crowd repeatedly chant his name. He can’t wait to regain his title as Champion of Capua, something Spartacus tells him will never happen.

As Crixus leaves the arena, Batiatus announces to the blood thirsty crowd that Calavius’ death shall be avenged. Poor Solonius, set up as Calavius’ slayer, now has to face Spartacus. I must say he tried his best, even joking with Spartacus, but he was no match for him. After killing Solonius, a newly begrudged Spartacus spears the decapitated head aloft on his sword.

Crixus and Naevia (Lesley-Ann Brandt) continue their illicit love affair until Batiatus gives Naevia to Asher (Nick Tarabay) as a thank you gift. My heart just broke as Naevia is forced to have sex with him. Lucretia isn’t too happy about that either as she’s in love with Crixus herself. Plus, Naevia is her  favored slave and she’s worked hard to preserve Naevia’s virginity … little does she know!
